St Paul’s soccer team moves to the fourth position in the Kenya university sports association (KUSA).
The 2-1 win for St. Paul’s over j.k.u.a.t city on Saturday last weekend made it successful for them to move to the fourth position in the league making it able to compete for the tittle.
Goals scored by Erick Uto and James Mwanthi helped the team collect three points and proceed to position four at the Kenyatta university grounds.
St pauls team with 47 points at the 4th position with 6 matches left can make it to the top of the table within three winning matches. The difference of about 10 points with the league leaders Kenyatta university main campus.
According to the team captain Gabriel Ochieng said “it is so difficult to move the first position because the leading team has to lose three consecutive matches and one draw which will make easy for us while setting our minds in winning four matches. By this it will make my team at the top and as you know how difficult is to win in the KUSA league.
